Senior Financial Accountant

Senior Financial Accountant | Investment Firm Your new company A top-tier global asset manager with over €500 billion in assets offers diversified investment solutions including private assets, active strategies, emerging markets, and systematic approaches, often combined into multi-asset offerings. They are looking at bringing on an interim accountant to support an acquisition. Your new role You will be joining a team of 9 based in London, reporting directly to the UK CFO.

You will be supporting following a large merger and be responsible for harmonising the finance for the two businesses on an interim basis. Consolidate financial statements and ensure accurate, timely reporting to stakeholders during the transition period. Review and harmonise chart of accounts, cost structures, and budgeting processes to create a unified financial framework. Identify and implement synergies, cost-saving opportunities, and process improvements within finance operations.

Act as liaison between finance teams, senior leadership, and external advisors to ensure compliance and smooth integration. What you'll need to succeed You will be a fully qualified accountant, ideally ACA, with a strong academic background. You must have experience working within asset management or wider financial services and have 5 years' experience in a technical role.
