With a keen eye for detail and technical expertise, you will lead the oversight and development of syndicate capital model, consistently identifying opportunities for strategic innovation.

Acting as a subject matter expert, you will deliver information and guidance on complex capital modelling issues across teams, thereby playing a key role in knowledge-sharing and development of best practice.

A confident decision maker, you will also be instrumental in driving the capital approval process through peer review of technical papers and support for senior management in all oversight activities.

In addition, as a positive, supportive, people‑led manager and mentor, you will encourage an environment of technical excellence, professional growth and innovative change, ensuring a close‑knit, diverse and ambitious team.

To be successful in the role, you will possess an in‑depth knowledge of non‑life capital modelling techniques, including:

• model validation
• parameterisation
• scenario testing, ideally within the Lloyd’s or London Market context

With an interest in and knowledge of analytical and technical tools, you will also be familiar with actuarial modelling platforms (e.g., Igloo, ReMetrica, Tyche) and data analysis tools used in capital modelling.
