This is a fantastic opportunity for a qualified finance professional with strong analytics expertise to lead innovation, influence decision-making, and help embed a data-driven culture across Finance.
What you'll do
As the Finance Analytics Manager, you will lead the delivery of high-quality finance data products and analytics that support operational and strategic decision-making across the organisation. Reporting into Finance leadership, you'll work closely with colleagues across Data, Analytics and Digital to enhance our financial reporting, insight, and data capability.
You'll ensure that financial data is accessible, insightful, and actionable, supporting Finance teams and wider stakeholders to understand performance, identify risks and opportunities, and continuously improve outcomes.
As a manager within Finance, you'll also play a key role in championing data literacy, agile delivery, and customer-focused thinking, helping Finance maximise the value of analytics in everything we do.
How you'll do it
• Manage the delivery of finance-related data products, ensuring high quality, excellent user experience, and measurable business impact.
• Develop insightful financial analytics and reporting using tools such as Dynamics 365 F&O and Power BI.
• Work collaboratively with Data, Analytics and Digital teams to deliver advanced analytics capabilities aligned to the organisation's analytics strategy.
• Implement analytics products using agile methodologies, ensuring solutions meet user needs and deliver value quickly.
• Analyse financial and performance data to identify trends, risks, and issues, proposing practical and effective solutions.
• Support Finance and operational teams with high-quality data insight that informs planning, forecasting, and performance management.
• Lead on enhancing data literacy within Finance, aligned with NHG's enterprise-wide approach to analytics and insight.
• Promote continuous improvement, innovation, and customer focus within all analytics activity.
Responsibilities
• Lead and manage finance analytics activity, ensuring consistent, accurate, and insightful reporting and data products.
• Provide expert analytical insight to support financial management, operational performance, and strategic planning.
• Manage, develop, appraise, and performance-manage staff to ensure high levels of motivation and performance.
• Ensure data quality, integrity, and ethical use of financial information at all times.
• Act as a trusted partner to Finance colleagues and wider stakeholders, translating complex data into clear, compelling insights.
• Embed best practice in analytics, reporting, and data storytelling across the Finance function.
