This is an exciting opportunity for an ambitious individual to join their Trading team as a Trading Assistant / Trainee Trader, offering full training, long-term development, and the chance to build a career in a specialist and fast-moving industry.
The Role – Trading Assistant / Trainee Trader- Reporting directly to the Head of Trading, you will play a key support role within the busy Trading department. Your responsibilities will include :
- Monitoring and maintaining metal positions in real time
- Assisting with daily reconciliation of trading P&L
- Processing customer orders accurately and efficiently
- Handling customer enquiries with professionalism and confidence
- Engaging in retail sales of bullion products
- Supporting the trading team with administrative and operational tasks
- Learning the fundamentals of precious metal trading, with structured on-the-job training provided
- Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent), ideally in Economics, Mathematics or a related field
- Interest or knowledge in commodity trading and / or small-scale engineering / manufacturing (advantageous)
