Due to exciting growth and expansion, a fantastic opportunity has arisen for an experienced lending Underwriter minder to join a specialist Property Lending bank in London. Specializing in bridging finance, you will be responsible for responding toడ
For this position, you will have had experience with an individual mandate level, working within bridging finance.
- Make lending decisions in accordance with Credit Risk Policy and individual mandate thresholds.
- Manage a pipeline of 35-45 Bridging applications, or a volume aligned with team standards, from application to credit approval and drawdown to meet departmental targets.
- Adhere strictly to internal underwriting policy and regulatory requirements, including FCA, PRA, Money Laundering, Prevention of Financial Crime, and Data Protection.
- Collaborate with Sales to progress cases from decision in principle to drawdown.
- Prepare detailed credit papers outlining all relevant conditions skeletal present proposals to the Bridging Credit Committee.
