Trade Support; Commodity Trading Desk SME – Leading Hedge Fund

Our client, a leading global multi-strategy hedge fund, is looking to expand its London-based commodities trade support function with a newly created hire.

Following a significant buildout of the European commodities investment desk, the firm is hiring a commodities trade support professional in London to work directly with an industry leading trading team. The role will cover a broad range of commodities, albeit predominately power, gas & oil trading. Responsibilities include trade capture, lifecycle management, reconciliations, and a strong emphasis on process optimisation and risk mitigation as the firm continues to scale its commodities platform.

Candidates should ideally have 4-8yrs experience in middle office or trade support, with a commodities specialism, more specifically Futures / Power / Natural gas where possible.
