Role Overview

The Director – Real Estate Finance is responsible for structuring debt and equity on commercial, development, and residential investment transactions. The role supports the growth and strategy of Arc & Co.’s Structured Finance department and serves clients’ real‑estate financing needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Structure debt and equity for commercial, development and residential investment transactions.
  • Promote Arc & Co. to new business partners and the wider industry.
  • Manage and mentor Senior Brokers.
  • Support and maintain key partner and introducer relationships.
  • Maintain deep knowledge of markets, competitors and the wider financial industry.
  • Ensure compliance with FCA standards for CPD and market standards.
  • Meet targets and create new business opportunities.
  • Report to the Partner in a timely manner on all relevant matters.
  • Prepare for weekly team meetings.
  • Host monthly meetings with Senior Partners under span of control.
  • Develop business strategy with Senior and Founding Partners.
  • Instil Arc & Co. core values into the brokers.
Qualifications
  • Minimum 7 years’ experience in real estate.
  • Educated to degree standard or equivalent professional qualifications.
  • Understanding of the real‑estate finance market.
  • Proficient in financial modelling in Excel.
  • Strong communication, negotiation and presentation skills.
  • Analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
  • Ability to work under pressure and to timelines.
  • Experience building trust and implementing structure within teams.
