A well-established Top 30 accounting firm based in London is seeking a Financial Services Tax Associate Director to join its growing specialist tax team. With over 500 members of staff nationally, the firm offers a strong platform for senior tax professionals looking to combine technical excellence with leadership and client engagement.
The RoleThis is a senior role focused on providing high-quality tax advisory and compliance services to Financial Services clients. You will work closely with partners and senior stakeholders, take ownership of key client relationships, and contribute to the strategic growth of the Financial Services tax offering.
Key Responsibilities- Leading tax advisory and compliance work for Financial Services clients, including asset managers, banks, insurers, and other regulated entities
- Acting as a trusted adviser to senior client stakeholders
- Managing and developing a portfolio of Financial Services clients
- Leading and reviewing complex tax work and ensuring technical excellence
- Supporting Partners with strategic initiatives and business development
- Mentoring and developing managers and junior team members
- Keeping up to date with UK tax legislation impacting the Financial Services sector
- ACA and/or CTA qualified (or equivalent)
- Ideally has Financial Services tax experience gained within practice
- Strong technical knowledge of UK tax
- Proven experience managing senior client relationships
- Leadership experience with the ability to develop and motivate teams
- Commercial mindset and strong communication skills
- Senior role within a respected Top 30 accounting firm
