Day Rate or FTC | Potential Contract-to-Perm Opportunity
A well-established trading firm operating across both traditional financial markets and digital assets is seeking an experienced Head of Surveillance to lead and enhance its global surveillance framework. This is a 6-9 month assignment with an urgent requirement, so you should be available at short notice.
Reporting into senior leadership, you will take ownership of trade and communications surveillance across the UK, US and Europe, covering both derivatives and crypto markets. This is initially a hands-on role with scope to build out the function and team longer term.
Requirements
- Strong surveillance experience within investment banking, trading, market infrastructure or digital asset environments.
- Deep understanding of market abuse, insider dealing, and market manipulation.
- Experience covering derivatives, futures, options, FX, equities and/or crypto markets.
- Knowledge of surveillance technologies
- Using AI to improve processes.
- Ability to operate independently in a senior, hands-on environment and influence stakeholders globally.
Very good day rate/FTC package available, with potential for the role to become permanent for the right individual.
