Health and Social Care Graduate - Learning Support Assistant

We are recruiting a Health and Social Care Graduate to join a forward-thinking special school in Barking and Dagenham.

This Health and Social Care Graduate role is based in Barking and Dagenham and is ideal for someone looking to build a career in education and training while making a real difference.

You will work as a Learning Support Assistant in a special school supporting students aged 16 to 19 with complex needs, including learning difficulties, communication needs, and behavioural challenges. The position is located in Barking and Dagenham, and personal care is essential as part of the daily support you will provide.

Key responsibilities include:

Supporting students with learning and development programmes
Assisting with personal care, mobility, and daily routines (personal care is essential)
Working closely with teachers and therapists to deliver high-quality education and training
Promoting independence, wellbeing, and positive behaviour
