Job responsibilities

We're looking for an enthusiastic Lead Clinical Pharmacist to join our dynamic Pharmacy Department at The London Clinic in Central London (W1G 7L). This role supports the Deputy Chief Pharmacist – Clinical & Operations and works with the other Lead Clinical Pharmacist, playing a key part in shaping medicines management, promoting safe and cost‑effective prescribing, and ensuring optimal pharmaceutical care for patients.

The Lead Clinical Pharmacist is responsible for the strategic leadership, operational management and delivery of high‑quality clinical pharmacy services across The London Clinic.

This permanent position requires 37.5 hours per week, including weekends, bank holidays and shift patterns as required. Salary is Band 8a per annum, based on skills and experience. • Minimum 5 years post‑registration hospital pharmacy experience.
• Comprehensive clinical rotations across surgical and medical wards.
• Experience working effectively within multidisciplinary teams.
• Experience implementing service improvements and managing risk.
• Experience managing clinical pharmacists and technicians.
