We are seeking a proactive and experienced HR Business Partner to join our dynamic ... This role offers a unique opportunity to work in a fast-paced scale-up environment and contribute to both day-to-day HR operations and long-term strategic initiatives. The ideal candidate will bring a mix of operational HR experience, project management skills, and the ability to partner with leadership and teams across the business to create innovative HR solutions.

A strong knowledge of employment law and compliance is essential.

Key Responsibilities
  • HR Strategy & Business Partnership:
    Partner with business leaders and department heads to align HR and talent acquisition strategies initiatives with the company’s goals and objectives. Act as a trusted advisor, providing guidance on workforce planning, employee relations, and organisational development.
  • End-to-End HR Support:
    Oversee and manage the full spectrum of HR activities, including recruitment, onboarding, performance management, employee engagement, training and development, and offboarding.
  • Project Management & Implementation:
    Lead and implement key HR projects aimed at driving efficiency, improving employee experience, and supporting business growth. This may include change management initiatives, leadership development programs, and HR process improvements.
  • Compliance & Employment Law:
    Ensure HR policies and practices comply with relevant employment laws and regulations. Provide advice and guidance to management on legal and regulatory matters.
  • Employee Relations & Engagement:
    Foster a positive work environment by managing employee relations issues, handling conflict resolution, and supporting leadership in maintaining a productive culture.
  • Data-Driven Decision Making:
    Use HR metrics to assess trends and identify areas for improvement in talent management, retention, and employee development.
  • Continuous Improvement:
    Continuously evaluate HR processes and procedures, recommending innovative solutions to streamline operations, improve employee satisfaction, and ensure business needs are met.
  • Scalable Solutions:
    Design HR processes and systems that can scale with the growth of the business, ensuring that HR infrastructure evolves alongside the organisation.
Key Qualifications
  • Experience:

    Minimum of 5 years of HR experience, including time spent in a scale-up or fast-growth environment. Experience in a medium-sized company is advantageous.
  • Comprehensive HR Knowledge:
    Proven ability to manage both administrative HR tasks and long-term strategic HR projects.
  • Employment Law & Compliance:
    Strong understanding of employment law and compliance issues. Ability to provide clear guidance on labour laws.
  • Project Management:
    Experience in leading and delivering HR projects from inception to completion.
  • Relationship Building:
    Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with leadership teams and employees at all levels.
  • Problem-Solving:
    Strong critical thinking skills with the ability to navigate complex employee issues and organisational challenges.
  • Adaptability:
    Ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced, and evolving environment.
  • Education:

    CIPD level 5 or 7 or a degree in Human Resources or related field is
Preferred
  • Experience in a scale-up or private equity-backed environment.
  • Knowledge of HRIS systems and other HR software tools.
  • Strong understanding of employee engagement and retention strategies in a growing business.
