I am supporting my client who are looking for an immediately available people coordinator. Experience in DBS processing would be a bonus!

About the role

We’re looking for an organised, people-focused People Coordinator to support the day-to-day operations of our People team. This role is ideal for someone early in their HR/People career who enjoys working behind the scenes to create a smooth, positive employee experience.

You’ll be the first point of contact for people-related queries, support the full employee lifecycle, and help keep our processes, data, and systems running efficiently.

Key responsibilities
  • Act as the first point of contact for employee People queries
  • Support onboarding and offboarding processes end-to-end
  • Maintain accurate employee records across HR systems
  • Prepare contracts, offer letters, and employment documentation

    Coordinate changes to employee data (starters, leavers, changes)
  • Support payroll inputs and monthly checks
  • Assist with absence, holiday, and benefits administration
  • Help organise training, engagement, and wellbeing initiatives
  • Support People projects and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Ensure compliance with policies, procedures, and employment legislation
About you
  • Previous experience in a People, HR, or administrative role
  • Strong organisational skills with great attention to detail
  • Confident communicator with a professional and friendly approach
  • Comfortable handling sensitive and confidential information
  • Able to manage multiple tasks and prioritise effectively
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office / Google Workspace
  • Experience using HR systems is desirable but not essential
