Requirements:- At least 4 years of professional open-source systems experience
- A bright mind (usually PhD, but some have no degree at all)
- Proficiency in Python and Bash
- Ideally experienced in Linux System Administration
- Knowledge of Puppet would be beneficial
- Experience with or curiosity about functional programming languages from Scala to Lisp
- Familiarity with BSD, Git, or Darcs
- Ideally skilled in build/deployment technologies like Maven, CMake, and Rake
You will probably have experience with:
- Scala, Ocaml, F#, Java
- Linux High-Performance Computing (HPC) and High-Frequency Trading (HFT) Systems Infrastructure
- Linux troubleshooting and virtualization, including KVM and Virtual Box
- Network protocols like BGP, OSPF, VRRP
- Cisco IOS, F5, IPSEC
