London or Edinburgh (Hybrid 2-3 days onsite)

£750-£850 per day - Inside IR35

A leading global financial institution is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead a major tax software migration within its UK Life Tax division.

Key Responsibilities

Lead the end-to-end migration from a legacy tax system to a new third-party platform.
Manage planning, timelines, risks, and stakeholder updates.
Oversee data configuration, data take-on, and system testing (UAT).
Reconcile tax outputs from old vs new systems.
Manage a small test team (3-4 people).
Provide clear updates to internal teams and external clients.

Requirements

Strong knowledge of UK Life funds tax (capital gains, loss rules, asset classification, etc.).
Hands-on experience with system/software conversion or implementation.
Excellent project management and stakeholder communication skills.
Strong analytical and reconciliation ability.
