Technical / Solution Architect – SC Cleared – Inside IR35
We are seeking a Technical/Solution Architect to provide architectural leadership and assurance across a portfolio of secure, complex technology services within a government client.
You will be responsible for reviewing, assuring, and evolving supplier-delivered designs, leading technical governance activity, and supporting the implementation of new or modified services.

Key Responsibilities

Review and sign off supplier technical designs through formal governance
Conduct architecture assurance reviews and generate reporting on supplier delivery progress against design milestones.
Maintain and evolve solution architecture artefacts (e.g. system diagrams, data flows, integration maps) in line with evolving designs.
Deliver impact assessments of proposed technical or scope changes, identifying implications for wider architecture, security posture, and operational risk.
Support supplier onboarding by contributing to technical architecture cycles and confirming design readiness for implementation.

Essential Experience

Active SC Clearance
Proven track record in solution or technical architecture roles within central government, national security, or law enforcement environments.
Experience operating in secure, multi-supplier delivery ecosystems with strong technical governance.
Demonstrable experience with technical design governance, assurance of supplier designs, and architecture documentation.
Knowledge of government security standards
