SEO Manager

Position: SEO Manager (Permanent)
About the Role

We're seeking a strategic SEO & AI Search specialist to lead our SEO function, drive high-quality client delivery, and shape our evolving AI-led search offering. You'll manage and develop the SEO team, optimise processes, and ensure we remain at the forefront of search innovation.

Key Responsibilities

Lead, mentor, and develop the SEO team to ensure best-in-class delivery.

Build strategic roadmaps and SoWs aligned to client goals.

Report departmental performance and utilisation to the Managing Director.

Develop and own our AI Search proposition, including workflows and templates for emerging areas (AI Search/GEO/AIO).

Deliver QBRs across all accounts.

Maintain and manage department analytics dashboards for performance and capacity visibility.

Use AI to streamline processes and improve operational efficiency.

Support new business onboarding and client retention.

Requirements

Strong leadership and team-management experience within an independent agency.

Significant senior SEO experience, including managing direct reports.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Proactive, detail-focused, and strong in problem-solving.

Deep understanding of all SEO pillars and emerging AI Search trends.

Strong analytical and data-driven decision-making skills.

Experience managing large-scale SEO programmes, ideally in B2B (Fin Tech, professional services, tech).

Strong project management and multi-tasking ability.
