Experience : 5-8 Years

Experience running and maintaining on-premise data centres

Strong experience with Linux (Ubuntu / Centos)

Experience enterprise storage including ISCSI and SAN technology

Prior experience using automation tools (Ansible, Foreman etc)

Knowledge of IP networking, DNS, and firewalling

Experience with Python, shell scripts and command-line tools

Knowledge of containerisation and related orchestration technologies

Demonstrable experience of remediation projects, ideally within a PCI-DSS certified environment.

Strong verbal written communication skills and natural willingness to collaborate across teams and organisations.

Naturally able productive with ITSM tools such as Jira, Service Now etc.

Great to haves :

Good knowledge of the various services and capabilities of cloud computing platforms Ideally AWS

Hyper-V, Microsoft AD, AAD VMWare experience

Experience maintaining Open Stack

Experience maintaining build system, source code management, Team City and Git Lab services

Bachelor s degree in a related field (Computer Science preferred) or equivalent experience
