Lead PMO Analyst | Cross-Asset Trading Function | London, Hybrid | Up to £85K + Bonus

A leading global financial services firm is seeking a skilled IT Delivery PMO Analyst to join its IT Governance team. This role will work closely with the Head of IT Delivery Portfolio, providing critical information to support the successful execution of the delivery model and broader strategic objectives. The position involves regular engagement with senior leaders and stakeholders across IT Development, IT Infrastructure, IT Delivery Portfolio, and IT Governance, as well as occasional collaboration with teams beyond these functions.

This is a pivotal role requiring strong attention to detail, clear communication, and a collaborative mindset to effectively support the Head of IT Delivery Portfolio. It offers broad exposure across the MBC IT landscape and the opportunity to make a meaningful impact within a dynamic and high-performing environment.

The Lead PMO Analyst Role:

• You will be responsible for the timely delivery of reports, presentation materials, management packs, KPIs, and other required data.
• Developing and continuously enhancing reporting processes, with a strong focus on automation and efficiency improvements.
• Creation of insightful Power BI reports, drawing primarily from JIRA data, as well as other relevant sources. Confident with Power BI is essential in the day-to-day of the role.
• Preparing clear and concise slide decks that highlight key data points, KPIs, and other business-critical information.
• Supporting the development and ongoing maintenance of the IT Portfolio Book of Work, ensuring it remains up to date and reflective of current project activity.
• Producing regular and accurate reporting for the Head of IT Delivery Portfolio in collaboration with IT Delivery Teams.
• Assisting the Head of IT Delivery Portfolio in Agile delivery aspects, including reporting, progress tracking, portfolio summaries, and ad hoc requests.
• Gathering high-level RAID logs and key performance indicators across multiple projects with an analytical focus to identify trends and anomalies and provide clear insights.

• Paying up to £85,000 + Bonus + Benefits
• Closest station is St. Paul’s
• Hybrid working: 3 days per week in the office

Qualifications and experience:

• Demonstrable experience using MS Power BI (including DAX), slicers, drill downs, and other Power BI features
• Proven use of JIRA and understanding of its data model within software development/process
• Background/understanding of software project implementation
• Experience supporting Agile project delivery (e.g., Kanban)
• Prior experience in a PMO function/area
• Proactive, self-sufficient, driven with a collaborative, hands-on attitude
• Attention to detail, analytical, organized, methodical approach
• Degree or equivalent qualification
• Experience in Financial Services, specifically within a trading line of business
