PMO Analyst (Contract – Outside IR35)
Contract Details- Duration: 6 months
- IR35 Status: Outside IR35
- Location: London office 2 days pw – based The City
- Start: ASAP
We are seeking an experienced PMO Analyst to support and challenge delivery across two high-profile initiatives which cover:
- Transforming Sales
- Data Retention
You will operate as a confident programme professional, capable of supporting effective communication lines up to senior stakeholders, driving standards, and improving delivery discipline across complex change initiatives.
Key Responsibilities- Support programme and project governance across multiple work streams
- Prepare, support the smooth running of, and facilitate challenge across Programme Board and Steering Committee meetings
, ensuring clarity on risks, dependencies, and decisions - Own and maintain programme artefacts including plans, RAID logs, financials, dependencies, and status reporting
- Act as a bridge between delivery teams, senior stakeholders, and governance forums
- Track delivery against milestones, sprints, and business outcomes
- Support the identification of delivery risks early and proactively drive mitigation
, not just escalation - Support agile delivery teams, ensuring alignment between Scrum delivery and programme-level reporting
- Ensure consistent use of PMO standards, tooling, and best practices across both programmes
- Proven experience working in a PMO Analyst or Programme Management role within complex change environments
- Demonstrable experience running, challenging, and influencing Programme Board meetings
- Strong understanding of Agile delivery
, including:- Scrum
- Sprint planning and tracking
- Hands-on experience using Jira for delivery and reporting
- Ability to manage competing priorities across multiple programmes
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
- Comfortable operating in environments with senior, demanding stakeholders
- Proactive, delivery-focused mindset — sees issues early and acts
- Is a strong team player, and acts with positivity
- Able to expertly manage and transition across multiple programmes and their activities and deadlines as required
- Confident challenger with the credibility to push back constructively
- Strong sense of ownership and accountability
- Flexible, resilient, and adaptable in fast-moving transformation programmes
- Commercially aware, with a clear understanding of delivery impact
- Experience working on sales transformation initiatives
- Experience with data governance or data retention programmes
- Background in both Agile and traditional programme environments
- High-visibility programmes with senior stakeholder exposure
- Genuine opportunity to influence delivery outcomes
- Clear Outside IR35 determination
- Fast-paced, outcome-driven environment suited to experienced contractors
