Ribble Recruitment is assisting a London local authority in sourcing an Interim Litigation Lawyer (Level
5) to cover a maternity leave within their Litigation & Public Law team. Ribble Recruitment handles candidate sourcing, screening, and the initial stages of the recruitment process for this role.
This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a Lexcel-accredited legal service, managing a varied caseload while being supported by senior lawyers, legal officers, and paralegals.

Pay Rates
* PAYE: £29.38 per hour
* Umbrella / Limited: £38.45 per hour
Role Overview
You will manage a challenging litigation caseload within the council’s legal service, providing advice and advocacy across one or more of the following areas:
* Complex possession proceedings
* Housing judicial review and access cases
* Anti-social behaviour and injunction work
* Homelessness-related litigation
Responsibilities include:
* Giving legal advice and drafting documents
* Conducting litigation and undertaking advocacy
* Supporting internal clients across the council
* Assisting in operational delivery of Legal Services
Candidate Requirements
* Qualified Solicitor, Barrister, or FILEX
* Minimum 1 year post-qualification experience
* Experience in housing litigation, judicial review, or injunctions
* Willingness to undertake County Court advocacy (desirable)
