Maintenance Technician

Position: Maintenance Technician (Permanent)
A well-established facilities management provider is recruiting a Maintenance Technician to support the day-to-day upkeep of a high-profile commercial building in the Liverpool Street area.

This role is ideal for a hands-on technician with a practical background in building maintenance who takes pride in delivering a safe, well-maintained working environment.

Responsibilities:
Carry out general building maintenance and minor repairs
Support planned preventative maintenance (PPM) schedules
Respond to reactive maintenance requests in a timely manner
Assist engineers with mechanical and electrical works where required
Conduct basic fault finding on building services systems
Complete routine inspections and checks
Ensure work is completed in line with health & safety procedures
Accurately record work completed using site systems

Requirements:
Previous experience in a commercial building or facilities environment
Practical maintenance skills (basic mechanical, electrical, or fabric works)
Knowledge of general building services and plant rooms
Relevant trade qualification or hands-on experience
Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach
Good communication and customer service skills
