Location:
Site-based (Within the M25)
Rate: £350/day (Umbrella PAYE)
Overview
We are looking for a highly proactive and disciplined Site Supervisor to oversee multiple teams on a fast-moving street works contract. The ideal candidate will have a strong Health & Safety mindset, excellent communication skills, and the confidence to enforce standards without compromise.
Key Responsibilities
* Supervise and manage up to 5 teams across the site.
* Lead with Health & Safety as the top priority, maintaining a zero-compromise attitude at all times.
* Carry out daily street works checks, ensuring compliance with NRSWA and all site requirements.
* Complete permit sign-offs and ensure all documentation is accurate and up to date.
* Monitor site operations closely and stop works immediately when standards are not being met.
* Ensure all signing, lighting and guarding is installed and maintained correctly.
* Drive productivity and maintain excellent site discipline across all teams.
* Work alongside project managers and client representatives to ensure smooth delivery.
* Water industry experience is an advantage, though not essential.
Requirements
* NRSWA Supervisor (Streetworks) – Essential
* SMSTS – Essential
* Strong leadership qualities with the confidence to challenge and correct unsafe working practices.
* Proven experience supervising teams on fast-paced civils or utilities projects.
* Knowledge of signing, lighting and guarding standards.
* Excellent communication and organisational skills.
* Ability to work site-based and travel as required
