This role supports the Head of Building Services in managing service providers to ensure the Estates Maintenance Contractor operates the Estates Maintenance services in accordance with the agreed contract, adheres to KPIs, meets the Library’s objectives, remains statutorily compliant, and provides the highest level of customer experience.
Key Responsibilities- Contractor performance management
- Asset register management
- Auditing
- Critical environment management
- Statutory compliance relating to building services systems
- Risk management
- Health & safety
- Contract management
- External suppliers and consultants
- CAFM system maintenance and asset register accuracy
- Allocated revenue and capital budgets, plus specific project-related budgets
The ideal candidate is a motivated individual with a proactive, flexible attitude, capable of confidently interacting verbally, face-to-face, and via email. They adapt to situations, provide best possible support, and have a drive for process improvements.
