Position: Assembly Technician (Permanent)
JOIN OUR CLIENT AS AN ASSEMBLY TECHNICIAN JOB IN HAYES, GREATER LONDON
Company Background:
Our client pioneers in microwave power sources and high-voltage supplies for radar, electronic warfare, and scientific applications, is seeking an Assembly Technician to join their dynamic team. Based in Hayes, Greater London.

About the Role:

As an Assembly Technician, you'll play a crucial role in manufacturing and assembling high-precision small tubes, contributing to their cutting-edge products used across various applications. Your responsibilities will include fine mechanical assembly, welding, leak checking, and ensuring adherence to meticulous assembly processes.
Key Duties for the Assembly Technician job:

* * To assemble and solder electro mechanical parts as per company drawings and specification working to Company procedures.

* To wire High Voltage Power Supply chassis as per company drawing adhering to company High Voltage practices and procedures.

* Assembly of RF Waveguides.

* To assemble and solder PCBs.

* To adhere to Company Quality process and procedures maintaining standard required.

* To assemble and wire a variety of different Chassis assemblies adhering to drawing and company procedures.

* To undertake any other task, that may be reasonably requested.
Other Responsibilities for the Assembly Technician job:

* Ensure working areas, plant, tools and production equipment is kept tidy

* Ensure compliance with TMD manufacturing processes and instructions.

* To comply with the Company Policy on Health & Safety
Qualifications and Experience for the Assembly Technician job:

* High dexterity and experience with microscopes or magnifying equipment.

* Proficiency in computer operations.

* Prior experience in small assemblies (e.g., SMT, watchmaking/repair) preferred.

* A focus on precision and right-first-time approach.

* Strong teamwork abilities and a keen eye for detail.
