Door Manufacturing Prep​/Sanding Assembler

Pay rate: TBD

Shift Times: 6:00am-2:30pm Monday to Friday

• Provide training to more junior level, less experienced workers.
• Willing to work occasional weekends and extended hours during the work week as needed and be flexible to schedule changes.
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.
• All finishing touches of the door, including placement of glass into the doors; cutting trim;
  Important to note tempered glass cannot be cut (95%) firelight can be cut.
• Operation of the Heesemann Sanding Machine. Work with cranes. Run whole doors through the sander, set-up of Heesemann machine with precision. (Fire Door 300 lbs). Vaccumm lifter on crane. Load panels manually at times 50 lbs range. Apply stains (Pat).

• Previous experience working with wood.
• Knowledge and ability to successful interpret blueprints.
• Ability to use basic hand and power tools; tape measure, hammer, table saw, trimmer, planer etc.
• Capable of performing repetitive, physical work.
• Must be able to lift 50 to 200 lbs. using a dual lift.
• Flexible to work in any area of the facility.
• Must be able to frequently lift to 150-200 lbs. with a dual lift – new lift assist equipment most done there.
• Most work is performed below to above shoulder level – up and extended reach.
