Press Brake Operator

Position: Press Brake Operator (Permanent)
Press Brake Operator / Setter – Saffan Machines
Pay: £18+ per hour (DOE)

Currently seeking an experienced Press Brake Operator / Setter to join on a full-time, permanent basis.

The Role

You will be responsible for setting and operating Saffan press brake machines, producing high-quality sheet metal components to specification and tolerances.

Key Responsibilities

* Set and operate Saffan press brake machines

* Read and work from engineering drawings

* Carry out tooling changes and machine adjustments

* Ensure parts are produced accurately and to quality standards

* Carry out basic quality checks and measurements

* Maintain a clean and safe working environment

Hours & Overtime

* 39 hours per week

* Monday to Thursday: 8:00am – 5:00pm (30-minute lunch break)

* Friday: 8:00am – 1:00pm

* Option to work until 3:00pm with overtime

* Overtime paid at time and a half

Requirements

* Proven experience as a Press Brake Operator / Setter

* Experience operating Saffan machines (essential)

* Ability to read technical drawings

* Reliable, punctual, and quality-focused
