About The Team

This opportunity sits in Shelter’s Community & Events department in the Income Generation Directorate. The team includes Community Fundraising, Supporter Experience, Digital Fundraising & Marketing and Mass Participation teams.

About

The Role

The Mass Participation Project Manager will deliver and develop mass participation products, primarily leading Shelter’s bespoke product, Walk for Home. The role will:

  • Plan and deliver Walk for Home campaigns.
  • Lead project groups and deliver an outstanding supporter experience.
  • Build strong internal and external relationships.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to maximise product performance.
  • Identify opportunities for innovation and growth whilst managing budgets.
  • Attend events and stay informed about sector trends.

  • Experienced in overseeing and delivering projects.
  • Confident managing multiple priorities and excellent stakeholder management.
  • Knowledgeable in mass participation fundraising with data‑driven improvements.
  • Drive to achieve financial targets and deliver high‑quality events.
  • Excellent relationship building, collaborative and inclusive.
