Philanthropy Manager - Major Gifts, PROSPECTUS

Prospectus, an LGBTQ+ anti‑abuse charity founded in 1982, is looking for a full‑time permanent Philanthropy Manager to join their London team. The role offers a salary of £40,000‑£47,000 per annum and flexible hybrid working arrangements.

The post holder will develop, execute and deliver a strategic plan for philanthropic growth from major donors. Working with the Head of Fundraising and Communications, they will develop the charity’s major donor strategy, set clear goals and sustainable fundraising targets, and create creative, high‑quality donor experiences. They will also design a tailored communication plan for major donors, including regular reports demonstrating the impact of their contributions.

• Develop and implement a major donor strategy in partnership with the Head of Fundraising and Communications.
• Set and manage clear fundraising targets and metrics to ensure long‑term stability of the charity.
• Create engaging, high‑quality donor experiences that reflect the charity’s mission.
• Design and deliver a tailored communication plan for major donors, including regular impact reports.
• Research, secure and maintain strong relationships with mid‑ to high‑level donors, including high‑net‑worth individuals and other stakeholders.

• Demonstrable experience raising income from mid‑ to high‑level donors.
• Experience researching, securing and maintaining relationships with high‑net‑worth individuals.
• In‑depth knowledge of LGBTQ+ experiences and communities, with experience in LGBTQ+, VAWG or victim support sectors.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
