Overview
We are seeking an experienced urology nurse to join our team as a Urology Clinical Nurse Specialist. This new role will see you working to grow and develop our existing urology service at The Princess Grace Hospital and our satellite sites. You will be supported by an established team of Urology CNS based across other HCA facilities. The Urology CNS will have both clinical and service development responsibilities, supported by our business development team.
Shift times:
Monday – Friday (will require some evenings potentially to support clinics). 37.5 hours per week. Permanent contract. Competitive salary depending on experience.
- NMC registered Nurse
- Extensive relevant post registration experience in Urology
- Mentoring /Teaching experience
- Experience in managing complex and difficult emotional situations
- Knowledge of current clinical advances and pathways of care relevant to specialty
- Evidence of continuous professional development in clinical area (i.e. relevant short courses and study days)
- Completed relevant post graduate module (level 6 or
7) - Evidence of Advanced Communication Skills (level 2 course), or willing to complete within the first year of employment.
