Locum LARC Nurse – post

Position: Locum LARC Nurse – 3 month full time post

Overview

CPL UK are currently assisting a client in London who require a locum LARC Nurse to join them for 3 months full time (they may also consider 3 days per week).

London based

Pay Rates

• £250-265 per day

Duties of role

• Implants fitting and removal
• Coil fitting and removal.
• Experience in implants and coil fitting.
• Patient self refer.
• Patient completes self assessment. Patient may have telephone call to verify and book patient in.
• HCA will chaperone patients and Nurse.
• Nurse to be a prescriber.
• Coil fitting 45 minutes.
• Implant fitting 30 minutes.
• 10 / 11 patients per day.

Experience required

• Nurse with experience in implants and coils
• Nurse able to deal with complex scenario.

Number of Patients agreed

• 10 / 11 patients per day.

Training Day / s required

• Information to be provided / SOPS and instructions for the system.
• Possible some onsite orientation

Day & Times / Session Pattern

• Start time – 08 : 30
• End time 17 : 00
• 1 hour lunch unpaid each day
• Possible to consider shorter lunch with earlier end time

Is there any type of admin / Follow ups required?

• Completion of assessment on client system on lilie.

Any Virtual interview process needed & Type of References required

• CVs to client.
• Possible telephone conversation with clinic lead.

Additional information

• Staff will have to complete a Data capture each day work
• Staff will have to submit a service delivery report for each day worked
• Staff will have to submit subsequent report for any DNAs or Urgent patients.
