District Nursing Sister, Band 6 Greenwich DN Teams

We are seeking to appoint an innovative Community District Nursing Sister/Charge Nurse. You must hold the District Nurse Specialist Practitioner Qualification. The successful candidate will manage a District Nursing team within the Greenwich Directorate of Oxleas NHS Foundation Trust.

The District Nursing Service delivers care to a diverse population across the borough of Greenwich. We are looking for an enthusiastic, conscientious, adaptable manager and team player with highly developed nursing skills.

• Must be able to work on own initiative.
• Previous clinical team management experience is essential.
• Full UK driver’s licence essential with access to a car for work purposes.

You will lead a team of nurses and support staff, managing care for a defined caseload. You will assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient care, and participate in training of patients, relatives, carers, students and other health care professionals.

These posts are not suitable for RMN or Learning Disability nurses.
