We are excited to be recruiting a Senior Theatre Practitioner – Scrub to join our exceptional theatre teams across The Platinum Medical Centre and The Wellington Hospital’s North and South Theatres. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced scrub practitioner with expertise in one or two of the following specialties:
Orthopaedic, Spinal or Cardiac.

The Wellington Hospital—rated “Good” by the CQC—is one of the UK’s largest and most advanced private hospitals, with 13 theatres across three buildings supporting a wide range of complex and high‑acuity specialties including neurosurgery, spinal surgery, cardiac care, orthopaedics, acute neurological rehabilitation, gynaecology and cancer care.
We are also home to a brand‑new Intra‑MRI theatre—one of only a few in the UK—enabling real‑time imaging during surgery for enhanced precision and patient outcomes. In addition, we undertake Robotic Orthopaedics and Robotic General Surgery, offering practitioners the opportunity to work with some of the most innovative surgical technology available today.
As a Senior Theatre Practitioner, you’ll play a key role in delivering safe, high‑quality and patient‑centred care. You’ll bring strong clinical expertise, confidence in your scrub practice and the ability to support, guide and collaborate with colleagues across the theatre suite. What You’ll Bring- Minimum 5 years’ experience as a Theatre Scrub Practitioner in orthopaedic, spinal or cardiac surgery
- Current HCPC or NMC registration
- A commitment to maintaining the highest standards of patient and colleague safety
- A team‑focused approach, sharing knowledge and supporting colleagues to achieve collective goals
