• Collect ecological data that informs sustainable development and conservation efforts.
• Work on surveys for species ranging from bats and birds to badgers and newts.
• Collaborate with experienced ecologists on protected species and habitat surveys.
• Field‑based work may involve early mornings, late evenings and overnight stays (travel and accommodation are covered).

• Competitive hourly rate.
• Accrued holiday at a rate of 1.2 hours per 10 hours worked.
• Zero‑hour contract with flexibility to choose when you work.

• Enthusiasm for wildlife or ecology.
• Organised and dependable.
• Happy to work away from home and available for unsociable hours.
• Driving licence.
• Right to work in the UK.
• Degree in ecology or related subject (desirable).
• Previous experience in ecological surveys (desirable).
• Eligibility for CIEEM membership (desirable).

Onboarding from 27th April, work begins 1st May. Locations:
Birmingham, Bristol, Cardiff, Leeds, Newcastle, London, Manchester, Peterborough, Reading, Edinburgh, Glasgow.
