We are working with a well-established Tier 2 main contractor delivering new build and refurbishment residential and commercial projects across the UK. Due to continued growth within their operational team, we are recruiting a Quality & Environmental (Q&E) Manager to oversee quality management and environmental compliance across multiple schemes, with responsibilities split between office and site visits.
This Q&E Manager role would suit someone with strong experience in construction quality and environmental management, ensuring high standards are maintained and compliance with legal, client, and company requirements is achieved across both residential and commercial projects.

Key Responsibilities:

* Leading and implementing quality and environmental management systems across projects

* Conducting site inspections, audits, and reviews to ensure compliance with standards and regulations

* Managing environmental and quality risks, non-conformances, and corrective actions

* Supporting project teams with procedures, policies, and best practice guidance

* Coordinating with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams on quality and environmental matters

* Preparing reports, documentation, and maintaining records for audits and certifications

* Travelling to site as required to monitor delivery, quality, and environmental compliance
Experience & Requirements:

* Proven experience as a Quality & Environmental Manager or similar role in construction

* Strong knowledge of ISO standards, quality assurance, and environmental regulations

* Experience across residential and commercial new build and refurbishment projects

* Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills

* Ability to split time effectively between office and site

* Relevant professional qualifications in quality or environmental management preferred
