Location: Greater London

We are looking for an experienced and passionate head chef to join our team. If selected, you'll be responsible for cooking and maintaining food quality, managing kitchen staff, controlling costs, and ensuring a smooth day to day kitchen operations whilst delivering consistently high quality burgers and sides.

Requirements

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead, train, and manage sous chefs to ensure an efficient service
  • Oversee preparation, cooking, and presentation of burgers and menu items
  • Ensure consistency in taste, quality, and portion control
  • Develop and maintain kitchen systems, recipes, and standard operating procedures
  • Manage food stock, ordering, inventory, and supplier relationships
  • Control food costs, waste, and kitchen budgets
  • Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, and health & safety regulations
  • Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen at all times
  • Collaborate with management on menu development, specials, and promotions
  • Handle kitchen issues quickly and calmly during busy service periods

Qualifications & Experience

  • Proven experience as a Head Chef, Sous Chef, or Senior Chef in a burger, fast-casual, or casual dining restaurant
  • Strong knowledge of cooking techniques, grilling, and experience in a fast-paced service
  • Food Safety & Hygiene certification (required)
  • Experience in staff training, scheduling, and performance management
  • Understanding of food cost control and kitchen KPIs
