We are looking for a proactive and commercially minded Merchandiser to join a fast-growing, multi-brand business in the jewellery and fashion space. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in planning, managing, and optimising the product lifecycle, helping to maximise sales and profitability across multiple channels and markets.
You will collaborate closely with the Buying team to build commercially successful ranges that align with brand values and customer expectations. You will also be responsible for sales forecasting, margin planning, trade performance analysis, and inventory management.
Key Responsibilities:- Support the Buyer in creating seasonal product strategies aligned to business goals.
- Use historical and in-season trading data to shape range planning, option counts, and market differentiation.
- Set and manage sales and profit targets by category, channel, and market.
- Deliver weekly trade reports with actionable insights on sales, margin, and AOV.
- Plan and manage markdowns and promotions that align with the trade calendar.
- Partner with supply chain and logistics teams to manage stock levels and inventory flow.
- Work alongside retail and digital teams to analyse trends and identify growth opportunities.
- Strong experience in merchandising, ideally within jewellery, fashion, or accessories.
- Proven ability in sales and margin planning, with a commercial approach to performance management.
- In-depth knowledge of merchandising principles, range development, and lifecycle management.
- Analytical mindset with strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Confident using data to influence key decisions.
- Comfortable in a fast-paced, agile working environment.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Advanced Excel skills are essential.
