Specialist Tech, Infrastructure & Cloud Recruiter across the UK & Europe (Contract & Permanent)A growing SaaS company in the IT operations space is hiring a Sales Manager to drive new customer acquisition and build a scalable outbound engine. This is a player-coach style role where you will own the full sales cycle, set the standards for future hires, and work directly with the senior leadership team to shape how the sales function grows.
You’ll be the person opening new doors, driving high-quality outbound activity, meeting prospects across the UK, and closing deals with mid-market and enterprise customers. If you enjoy ownership, pace, and building something meaningful, this is a strong fit.
Salary: £70,000 to £80,000 base + OTE up to £130,000
Location:
Hybrid Remote, Midlands or London preferred (1 to 2 days per week on site) Requirement:
Must have a full UK driving licence
- Building and managing your own pipeline through outbound outreach, networking and partner activity
- Running full cycle SaaS sales from discovery to demos, proposals, negotiation and close
- Meeting prospects on-site across the UK to deepen relationships and accelerate deal cycles
- Working with Solutions Engineering to deliver impactful demos and technical discovery
- Maintaining accurate forecasting, CRM discipline and qualification standards
- Creating the sales playbooks, outreach frameworks and processes future hires will follow
- Feeding market insight into product and marketing teams
- Representing the company at events, webinars and partner engagements
- Proven experience in Software, SaaS or IT sales with a track record of winning new business
- Comfortable acting as the first senior sales hire and shaping the sales function from the ground up
- Strong outbound capability with high levels of weekly activity and pipeline creation
- Confident engaging senior IT and business stakeholders and navigating complex buying cycles
- Ability to forecast accurately and keep opportunities moving with pace and clarity
- Comfortable travelling to customer sites across the UK
- Full UK driving licence
- OTE up to £130,000
