Your new role We are looking for a dedicated and organised Assistant Local Housing Manager to join our Retirement Living team.

This customer-facing role supports the Local Housing Manager in delivering high-quality housing and support service to residents, ensuring they can live independently in a safe and welcoming environment.

No two days are the same - you'll assist with compliance checks, repairs, budgeting, and community engagement, while helping to create a vibrant and inclusive atmosphere for residents.

Key Responsibilities Assist with health & safety checks, compliance audits, and record-keeping. Support reactive repairs and planned maintenance projects. Help manage void properties and ensure timely allocation. Organise events and activities to reduce social isolation and promote community engagement. Respond to anti-social behaviour, complaints, and safeguarding concerns in line with policy. Maintain accurate records and ensure GDPR compliance. What you'll need to succeed Excellent communication and organisational skills.

Experience in social housing or working with older people (desirable). Ability to manage priorities and remain calm under pressure. Competent in ICT systems and committed to reducing digital exclusion. Enhanced DBS clearance required. What you'll get in return £13.54 per hour for 15 hours per week. A supportive team environment.
