Senior Web Developer - Tottenham Court Road

We are a global, data-driven digital marketing agency, with key specialism in marketing automation and customer acquisition. We are looking for a senior web developer to join our small agile team. You will be responsible for 6 websites and leading the development of our overall technology architecture. Our work is fast paced and varied, and can often include video and audio, e-commerce, advertising technologies, and media AI solutions.

Ideally, you will have previously worked in a dynamic agency environment and will be able to take high-level direction, turning your ideas into a relevant and tangible output. You will be ready to collaborate with the team and provide guidance to junior team members

• 5+ years of professional web development experience
• 3+ years of agency experience
• Strong understanding and experience of hosting solutions
• Experience with standard APIs
• Experience with the maintenance, support and enhancements of websites
• Experience with website migrations
• Excellent knowledge of HTML, CSS, SASS
• Excellent knowledge of PHP, SQL
• Excellent knowledge of Word Press
• Experience with front end frameworks e.g. Vue.js and React
• Confident with version control e.g. GIT
• Experience with client relationships/management

• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Team player and comfortable using own initiative
• Appetite to learn, research and self-teach
• Commercial or agency development experience in a similar environment
• Self-motivated and confident to put forward ideas

• Initial migration of new clients websites from another agency
• Develop and test new website features
• Develop enhancements to website security and performance
• Manage our hosting company relationship (managed service)
• Making decisions on the best frameworks to develop for the future
• Actively contribute to the growth of the web development team
