• Lead the Previso software development team.
• Define priorities and product roadmap with internal and external stakeholders.
• Balance project priorities, deadlines, and deliverables to achieve long‑term goals.
• Expand cloud functionality and support integration with other software/services.
• Continuously improve the performance of the application’s core simulation engine.
• Plan and execute short‑term tasks through two‑week agile sprint cycles.
• Assist solution architects in implementing the product with new clients.
• Handle inbound client support requests and resolve software issues.
• Monitor, detect, and resolve software issues using bug‑tracking software.
• Build testing models in Previso.
• Document features and release notes as required.
• Carry out other duties as assigned.

• Minimum 7 years experience in software development and/or engineering, with 3+ years leading a product or development team.
• Web application and API development experience.
• Upstream oil and gas domain experience, preferably within gas production and processing.
• Mathematical modelling experience (numerical methods, linear programming, root‑finding, differentiation, optimization).
• Programming language experience such as Python or LUA.
• Solid understanding of modern software development practices, including repository management, CI/CD pipelines, and testing.
• Procedural programming experience using Fortran.

• Windows desktop application development using Visual Studio (.NET/WPF).
• Experience working with a co‑located team.
• Independent contributor mindset.
• Ability to convert requirements into stories and deliver fully tested solutions.
• Knowledge and experience with Azure Dev Ops.
