About

The Role

As a Member of Technical Staff, Field Eng at Anyscale, you will be the technical face of our company and the biggest advocate for our customers. You’ll work closely with sales, product management, and engineering to shape experiences that drive value in customer engagements. The ideal candidate is a scrappy executor, capable of working independently and leading complex POVs with users adopting Anyscale and Ray.

You’ll demo the product, scope POVs, make users successful, and amplify the voice of our customers. Expect to learn about Ray, Anyscale, and early‑stage product go‑to‑market, helping us disrupt how distributed applications are built at scale.

As Part Of This Role, You'll Be Involved In

• Building product demos, tutorials, reference architectures, and blogs demonstrating Anyscale platform capabilities
• Knowing Ray end‑to‑end and educating customers on its use
• Working with customers as they build applications on Ray
• Staying abreast of the cutting‑edge ML landscape and toolsets
• Cross‑functionally representing customer voice and delivering impactful solutions with product and engineering teams
• Serving as a trusted advisor to customers at all organizational levels, from C‑Suite to data scientists and developers
• Identifying product improvements and gaps, prioritizing features through development
• Managing stakeholders to keep focus on objectives and metrics in sales process
• Driving crisp communication about products and services internally and externally
• Collaborating with marketing and go‑to‑market to create high‑quality content to evangelize Anyscale and Ray

We'd Love To Hear From You If You Have

• 5+ years of pre‑ and post‑sales experience (sales engineer, solutions engineer, architect, customer success engineer/manager, consultant)
• Strong technical skills, including Python fundamentals, and ability to learn Ray and build applications with its libraries
• Experience in enterprise SaaS, infrastructure, open source, or ML/AI technologies
• Experience with public cloud and enterprise infrastructure
• Customer success orientation; can demonstrate technical concepts to technical and non‑technical audiences, build value with end users, and drive solutions over the line
• Cross‑functional collaboration with technical stakeholders (Engineering, Product)
