I am working with a high‑growth Fin Tech that’s about to enter a huge new chapter.

They are a fast‑scaling Fin Tech that’s in the middle of a major rebrand, new name, new logo, and a shift to a truly global financial platform. The full reveal is coming in this quarter, and the energy inside the business is electric so we need to keep fuelling the passion.

This is an engineering‑first organisation. Backend engineers have a genuine voice in every technical decision, nothing is top‑down. It’s collaborative, thoughtful, and engineers shape the how, why, and when behind the product.

They’ve just upgraded to Java 25, which the team is genuinely excited about. With eight product teams spanning credit, payments, business tools, growth, and customer experience, engineers are placed where their strengths and passions fit best.

Having been established for only a few years, they are backed by some reputable investors, have grown the business to 70 people and need another 15 heads to join and double the engineering function in London.

Their Java team is currently working on Java 25, Springboot, Microservices, AWS, TDD, BDD, React, Junit to name a few areas.
The salary is within the range of £90k - £130k, plus equity, bonus, and generous benefits. Based in London, with 1-2 days onsite desirable.
