Van Driver

Location: Newham

The Recruitment Crowd are currently recruiting on behalf of our well known and industry-leading client based in the Exeter area. We are looking for several dedicated multi-drop van drivers to join the team.

Shifts:

Monday to Friday or Tuesday to Saturday

Hours:

9am starts (45 hours a week) Pay Rate: £13.30 per hour PAYE

The role:

Safely and efficiently operate a company van to deliver high value goods (parcels) Positively?representing?the brand,?maintaining?a clean vehicle and being a courteous?driver Safe loading and unloading of parcels on to a van Delivery of products,?goods?and parcels safely and efficiently to?designated?locations within set?time frames Ensure proper handling and delivery of sensitive materials with authorisation,?if necessary and deliver?high standards?of customer?care Properly use?and?maintain?delivery equipment, including handheld scanner, to deliver up to 100 shipments per?day

Requirements: A valid UK driver's license and held for over a year (if less but have experience, this will be considered) Have no more than 6 points on licence (minor offences only). Strong communication and customer service skills. Physical ability to manually load and unload vehicles. Flexibility to work 5-6 shifts per week, including weekends. Excellent time management and organisational skills.
