Overview

52 week contract – 47 weeks = 30 hours a week Monday – Friday 09:00 – 15:00. Annual leave is set to accommodate the school: 1 week during February half term, 1 week during Easter half term (2nd week), 2 weeks during 6 weeks holidays (last 2 weeks), 1 week over Christmas break. No holiday taken during term time or when deep cleans are taken place – deep cleans are completed during the half terms.

• Adhere to company Health & Safety requirements.
• Keep clients environments clean and tidy to the highest standards.
• Ensure the effective use of equipment and materials.
• Use PDA to complete and close jobs accordingly.
• Report all faults to the Site Manager/Cleaning Supervisor.
• Ensure Health & Safety and COSHH (Control of Substances Hazardous to Health) regulations are complied with at all times.
• Undertake any other duties and responsibilities that may reasonably be expected by the site manager or cleaning supervisor.
• Checking cleaning cupboards and replenishing stock daily.
• Making sure all cloths are washed and replenished daily.
• Checking and cleaning toilets daily.
• Answering to school for spillages and any other problems that occur during school hours.
• Carry out cleaning section to specified areas including toilets, floors and office areas ensuring that internal facilities are maintained in a clean and hygienic condition and that the general standard of cleaning is maintained to a very high standard.
