Quality Assurance Specialist to help drive initiatives to support the development, maintenance, and align documentation across the organization, ensuring compliance with AS9100 and other regulatory standards. The ideal candidate will have strong technical writing skills, a deep understanding of aerospace quality processes, and experience managing controlled documentation in a regulated environment.
Responsibilities
What YOU will do
Evaluate and harmonize QMS documentation across business units to reduce redundancies, streamline processes, and ensure alignment with AS9100, ISO 9001, and regulatory standards (TCCA, EASA, FAA)Work to standardize procedures, work instructions, templates, and forms, defining a controlled and consistent documentation structure enterprise wide.Collaborate with 1st Party Internal Audit and Corrective Action to identify trends, gaps, and improvement opportunities within the QMS.Support QMS compliance and process improvement initiatives, participating in reviews, audits, and corrective action programs to ensure documentation meets business and regulatory needs.Coordinate change control activities, including stakeholder engagement, version control, training, and communication to ensure successful adoption of harmonized documentation.What YOU will learn

Qualifications You Must Have
Typically requires a University Degree5+ years of experience in quality systems, compliance, or documentation management within aerospace, defense, or regulated manufacturing.Prior experience with AS9100, ISO 9001, and related regulatory standards (TCCA, EASA, FAA).Experience with document control systemsExcellent written and verbal communication skills in French and English (bilingual required).
Qualifications We PreferExcellent organizational, project management, and attention-to-detail skills.Strong written and verbal communication skills, including experience leading cross-functional teams.Bachelor’s degree in quality, Engineering, Business, or a related technical field.ASQ certifications such as CQA, CQE, or similar.AS9100 lead auditor certificate.Experience in internal auditing or corrective action management.Proficiency with data analysis and visualization tools (., Power BI, Excel).Experience with large-scale QMS transformation or documentation harmonization projects.Leadership in driving cross-functional quality initiatives.Strong knowledge of QMS documentation control and compliance frameworks.Excellent communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills.Analytical mindset with ability to interpret data, identify trends, and implement improvements.Ability to balance strategic planning with hands-on executionNot finding what you're looking for or not ready to make the leap quite yet?
