We are looking to fill the following position:

Senior Systems Designer-HVAC Controls

• Perform system engineering for DDC or alternate technology projects, as requested
• Analyse the estimate for the sequence of operations
• Revise the project engineering for colleagues
• Document the operation sequences
• Optimise project engineering prior to execution and propose improvements
• Support the team with the estimation of complex projects
• Hold exchanges with the customer in the case of modifications during the course of the project
• Produce plans for complex projects
• Act as a technical reference for colleagues
• Provide advice, training and coaching on the engineering aspects of complex DDC projects
• Offer help in the answering calls from technical support, as needed
• Stay up to date with knowledge pertaining to new products and technologies
• Attend training sessions given by suppliers and participate in industry meetings, seminars and trade shows

• College degree in Mechanical Engineering, Instrumentation or Automation and Controls
• Minimum of 8 years of experience in designing control systems for HVAC installations
• Mastery of electrical concepts
• Good knowledge of design software and Visio
• Knowledge of systems such as Prolon, Johnson, Honeywell, Strato, KMC or Distech, an asset
