What will your day-to-day look like?

The ideal candidate will lead and participate in strategic enterprise initiatives, design, implement, and support Pratt & Whitney Quality Management Systems (QMS). They will engage with the Quality organization, understand customer requirements, identify and develop solutions, troubleshoot complex issues, and collaborate with cross‑functional Digital Technology teams, third‑party vendors, and outsourced partners.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to identify and implement improvements to quality processes.
  • Manage key decisions, risks, actions, and dependencies.
  • Develop and deploy a functional strategy for QMS.
  • Resolve technical and functional issues.
  • Translate requirements into functional specifications.
  • Ensure seamless integration between QMS and other enterprise applications.
  • Maintain stakeholder alignment on vision, scope, schedule, and budget.
  • Develop and implement new products, processes, and standards.
  • Deliver project milestones on schedule and within budget.
  • Oversee third‑party suppliers to ensure system performance and reliability.
  • Define KPIs to measure solution value and performance.
  • Facilitate or support project status forums, daily stand‑ups, and executive reviews.
  • Ensure user training and system usability.
  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives to enhance application performance and reliability.
  • Maintain production application service levels.
  • Manage projects using Waterfall or Agile methodologies.
  • Ensure all projects follow approval and sign‑off processes.
  • Participate in work‑group meetings, teleconferences, and training sessions.
  • Active participation in CORE initiatives.
  • Perform other related duties as needed.
  • Travel as required for business.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology or related field and 8+ years of experience in IT/Quality, including client‑facing roles, requirement gathering, functional/technical solution design, support, and project delivery in dynamic organizations.
  • OR Advanced Degree and 5+ years of comparable experience.
  • Working knowledge of SAP Quality Management module (SAP Quality Notifications and SAP S/4-HANA desired).

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience configuring SAP Quality Management module.
  • Knowledge of SAP Quality Notifications.
  • Strong technical experience in a complex SAP landscape.
  • ABAP and/or JavaScript development skills.
  • Program debugging experience.
  • Experience with ETQ Reliance and Net‑Inspect.
  • Leadership in process improvement initiatives.
  • Experience implementing Agile practices at scale.
