Part time Evening Cleaner

Job Overview

Equans is looking for a Part‑time Evening Cleaner to join our team at Crown House, Southfield Road, Loughborough, LE11 2TW
. The role is on a permanent basis, working 10 hours per week at a rate of £12.40 per hour.

As the on‑site cleaner, you will keep the building clean and tidy to the highest standard of hygiene, health and safety while maintaining a professional manner with all staff and the public. Your duties will include routine office and hallway cleaning, waste disposal, and maintaining clean storage areas. The Shift Pattern is Monday to Friday, 5.00 pm – 7.00 pm.

• Employment history for the past 3 years (HMRC statements may be required for any gaps).
• Right to work status in the UK – citizenship or valid share code.
• Unspent criminal record – disclosure of any unspent convictions.
• Significant periods abroad – any 6+ month stays abroad in the past 3 years.
• At least one year experience in a customer‑focused environment.
• Current DBS (ideally no older than 12 months).
• Ability to acquire BPSS vetting – a baseline personnel security standard clearance set out by the UK Government.
• Evidence of the right to work in the UK.
• No relocation package is offered; agencies are not required.
