Land Disposals Surveyor – Tarmac

Reporting into the National Land Disposals Manager, the successful Land Disposals Surveyor will support one of the largest land portfolios in the UK across residential, commercial, natural capital and leisure sectors. You will work within an experienced Land Development team of Chartered Surveyors and Town Planners, contributing to company‑wide projects and driving headline profit to meet annual financial targets.
Key Responsibilities- Assist with the disposal of development land to house builders, developers and individuals across a 110,000‑acre national portfolio.
- Assist with management and development of the land and building property portfolio, pre‑ and post‑operational use, to drive best value from Tarmac’s real estate while working closely with Development Managers.
- Collaborate with external managing agents, land and property owners, developers, tenants, consultants and Planning Authorities.
- Manage professional advisers and solicitors, ensuring timely turnaround of advice to inform business decisions.
- Previous experience of valuation, property/asset management and the property development and disposal process.
- MRICS qualification preferred.
- Experience in undertaking and interpreting real estate valuation appraisals.
- Good understanding of property and land law and legal processes.
- Experience managing sales processes from start to finish, including marketing, offer negotiation, recommendation, heads of terms and disposal.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills, confident presenting to internal and external parties.
